Adelisa Zahirovic is a certified Physician Associate dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care for her patients. With a strong academic foundation and diverse clinical experience across multiple medical specialties, Adelisa brings a patient-centered approach focused on education, empathy, and evidence-based treatment.
She earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University (expected August 2025) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Grand Valley State University. Her capstone research explored the pathophysiology, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acne vulgaris, reflecting her interest in dermatological care and overall patient well-being.
Throughout her clinical training, Adelisa completed rotations in general surgery, internal medicine, women’s health, family medicine, psychiatry, pediatrics, emergency medicine, dermatology, pain management, and orthopedics, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of patient populations and care settings.
Before pursuing her PA career, Adelisa worked as a Medical-Surgical Nurse Technician at Corewell Health Blodgett Hospital, where she developed her clinical skills and bedside manner.
