Shoulder Dislocation
A shoulder dislocation occurs when the head of the humerus (upper arm bone) is forcibly removed from its socket (glenoid) in the shoulder blade. The shoulder is the body’s most mobile joint, which makes it highly susceptible to dislocations. This injury can be extremely painful and often requires immediate medical attention to reposition the joint.
