Patient Journey​

The patient is ordered an MRI and provided a script by a licensed doctor or physician.

The staff at the front desk will ask MRI safety questions (the patient may be contacted with further questions depending upon the answers the patient has provided to the staff) and schedule all MRIs.

Patients will receive reminders through text messages three days prior, one day before and on the morning of the appointment.

Once the patient arrives at one of our Synergy Health Partners MRI locations, they are checked in and given a form to be filled out prior to their MRI.

After check-in, the MRI PC will go over the form with the patient and explain how the MRI will be conducted, and how long it will take. Any questions the patient has regarding the scan will be answered at this time.

The patient’s belongings are locked and kept safe within a separate room before leaving to be scanned. The key to this room remains with the patient until they have concluded their MRI.

Patients are then introduced to the MRI tech, who will then proceed to initiate the scan.

Once the patient’s scan is complete, they are free to collect their belongings and they are all set to leave. Patients have the option of being provided copies of their images.
