Own The Bone
Dr. Mendelson and Dr. Shironda Stewart launched the “Own The Bone” program at MKOSS in 2017. Own the bone is a program initiated by the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Orthopedic Association to treat bone health and osteoporosis in fracture patients. Together they work to improve bone health and strength, and prevent future fractures among our patients who have sustained fragility fractures. They have met the “Star Performer” designation every year since.
Dr. Mendelson has been voted by southeast Michigan’s medical professionals as Hour Detroit magazine’s Top Docs in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.
