Dr. Andres Munk attended the Ohio State University for his undergraduate and received his Medical Degree at Ohio State University School of Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Munk completed a residency at Henry Ford Hospital. He went on to complete a Spinal Surgery fellowship at Swedish Hospital in Washington State where he went on to practice for several years before returning to the Detroit area. Dr. Munk practices at both our Warren and Livonia locations and is trained in the latest minimally invasive surgical (MIS) techniques, including the use of the iFuse Implant System® from SI-BONE®, Inc., a medical device company pioneering MIS sacroiliac (SI) joint treatment.

Dr. Andres Munk is an expert in SI Joint pain and the iFuse Implant System (SI) joint treatment. Dr Munk is a national Top Surgeon for this iFuse procedure. He is respected among his peers, spending his time consulting as well as training other surgeons.
