Sue Piotrowski, PTA, ATC, was born in New York City and moved to Long Island soon after. She has lived in Michigan since 1989. Sue attended Longwood University in Virginia, Bradley University in Illinois, and Henry Ford Community College in Michigan, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in 1985, Master’s Degree in 1988 and Associates Degree in 2008. After graduate school, Sue taught sports medicine at Ferris State University for two years. Following this, she moved to Farmington Hills, Michigan where she worked at Whitton Boutros (aka Thera Matrix) for 10 years before transitioning to Synergy Health Partners PT. Sue has been with Synergy Health Partners Physical Therapy since 2004.
Sue enjoys educating her patients about their condition, why they hurt, and how therapy can help them. She believes that, if a patient can understand their condition and takes part in their own rehabilitation process, their success rate will increase dramatically.
Sue is currently taking classes to pursue a degree in Naturopathic Medicine. She is heavily involved in her church. In the summer, Sue enjoys biking to work. On the weekends, Sue loves to help her neighbors with small home repairs.
