Dr. Bohm received his Bachelor’s and Medical degrees from the University of Michigan. He did Orthopedic Surgery Residency training at the University of Minnesota. He then went on to do an additional year of sub-specialized training in the upper extremity in the Twin Cities. He is board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and carries a Certificate of Additional Qualification (CAQ) in Hand Surgery.
Dr. Bohm specializes in the care of the upper extremity in both adults and children. He has published numerous articles pertaining to orthopedics and hand surgery, along with presenting podium and poster presentations at various orthopedic and hand-related meetings. Dr. Bohm has acquired skills in diagnostic ultrasound for clinic-based diagnosis and treatments, and is one of the only hand surgeons in Michigan to offer percutaneous ultrasound-based carpal tunnel release. This is the newest, less invasive option for patients.
Dr Bohm was born and raised in Stevens Point, WI. He played collegiate baseball for the University of Michigan Wolverines, where he was the team captain and all-conference First Baseman in 2004-2005. He was drafted professionally by the Toronto Blue Jays. He currently resides in metro Detroit with his wife and three children. He enjoys golf and skiing.
