Aaron Wienczak is a Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTRL) specializing in hand therapy at Synergy Health Partners. A Dearborn Heights, Michigan native, Aaron has built his entire career within the Synergy family — joining the organization in 2013 as a physical therapy technician and growing into the clinician he is today.
Aaron’s academic journey reflects both dedication and depth. He earned his Bachelor of Psychology in 2015, followed by a Bachelor of Health Sciences in 2017, and then his Master of Occupational Therapy in 2018, all from Wayne State University. He transitioned into his role as an occupational therapist at Synergy Health Partners Physical Therapy in early 2019.
As a hand specialist, Aaron is working toward his Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) designation — a credential that reflects the highest level of expertise in upper extremity rehabilitation. His clinical philosophy centers on function: understanding what each patient needs and wants to be able to do, then tailoring interventions to help them get there.
Aaron is fluent in English, Spanish, and Polish, allowing him to connect with and serve a diverse patient population.
Outside of the clinic, Aaron is an avid hockey player with more than 20 years on the ice. He also enjoys playing guitar, fishing, golfing, and kayaking.
