Andrew Cox is a certified Physician Associate and the Regional Director of Operations – East at Synergy Health Partners, where he sees patients at the Livonia and Shelby Township locations. Combining clinical expertise with operational leadership, Andrew plays a dual role in shaping both the patient experience and the organizational strength of the practice.
Andrew graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Health Services from Western Michigan University, then went on to earn his Master of Science in Biomedical Science – Physician Assistant from the University of Toledo. His academic excellence is matched by a broad range of certifications that reflect a commitment to preparedness and emergency care: he holds a BLS Instructor certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification through the American Heart Association, as well as TEMS I and TEMS II certifications from the International School of Tactical Medicine. He is also a trained Emergency Medical Technician/EMT-Paramedic through MedStar Medical Education Center.
Earlier in his career, Andrew served as a paramedic with MedStar Ambulance in Clinton Township and worked as a lab assistant at Borgess Medical Center — experiences that grounded him in hands-on, high-stakes clinical care before transitioning to the PA profession.
Andrew is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates.
