Ashley Fox DC, MS, CCSP, FACMUAP

Dr. Ashley Fox is a chiropractor and certified chiropractic sports physician at Synergy Health Partners’ Livonia location, specializing in the treatment, rehabilitation, and performance optimization of athletes at every level — from weekend warriors to professionals. Her path to sports medicine was shaped early by a lifelong love of hockey, and she has built her career around serving athletes in the sport and community she calls home.

A Port Huron, Michigan native, Dr. Fox earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Psychology with an emphasis in Athletic Training from Hope College, where she competed on the varsity cheer and track & field teams. Following graduation, she worked with the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers before serving four years as the head athletic trainer for the Port Huron Prowlers, a professional hockey team. Driven to deepen her clinical expertise, she went on to earn both her Master of Science in Sport Science and Rehabilitation and her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan University.

During her time at Logan, Dr. Fox interned as a strength and conditioning coach under Jeff LoVecchio — a retired Boston Bruins player and owner of RIPT Hockey — gaining hands-on experience with the offseason, preseason, and in-season training of hockey players at the U18 Tier 1 AAA, Division I, and NHL levels.

Dr. Fox’s clinical skills span a broad range of modalities, including spinal and extremity manipulation, manipulation under anesthesia, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), active release technique (ART), therapeutic cupping, dry needling, acupuncture, pediatric care, concussion management, headache and migraine therapy, TMJ treatment, selective functional movement analysis (SFMA), and muscle rebalancing.

She holds the Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) designation from the American Board of Chiropractic Sport Physicians and is a Fellow of the American College of Medical Quality and Utilization Assessment Physicians (FACMUAP). She currently serves as team physician for the Motor City Rockers of the FPHL and has provided care for athletes affiliated with the NHL and the St. Louis Blues.

Now practicing in Metro Detroit — Hockeytown itself — Dr. Fox is proud to serve the athletic community that has always been at the heart of her mission.
